Welcome to Valley Flyers Warbird Race website.  July 13th will be the first annual holding of what will become one of the premier warbird pylon race events on the West Coast. 

 The San Fernando Valley RC Flyers welcome you to our first “L.A. Warbird race” event. We’ve decided to open the event to all warbird pilots, with a fly-in event atmosphere.  It is our desire to make this a fun event that is open to a large contingent of historic and contemporary aircraft.  Bring your WWII, gas, glow or electric warbirds, for a great day of pylon racing in the heart of the San Fernando Valley.  All warbirds which comply with the race rules are welcome.  Vintage WWI aircraft to modern Reno Racers, you will be sure to experience the thrill of it all! We hope you'll be impressed with our flying facility and the event located at Apollo XI Field in Encino, CA.  Please be sure to check back to this site for updates before and after the event.

L.A. Warbirds is a celebration of the military aviation achievements of mankind over the past 100 years.  Apollo XI field will become the center-stage for an extravaganza of radio control aerial action never before experienced on the West Coast.
